BREAKING NEWS: Santiago.- The National Institute of Water Supply and Sewerage (INAPA) reported the advance the work of the treatment plant potable water from the aqueduct multiple Villa Bao-Hato del Yaque, at a cost of over 111 million pesos.

Industrial parks will be completed within three months

Free Internet for south zone of Santiago

BREAKING NEWS: Santiago.- A big free wireless Internet connections project that will benefit the residents of Santiago, entitled Santiago Digital and that will involve installing about ten Wi-Fi networks in several districts of this city, is developed by the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL) in a strategic partnership with the Deputy Ricardo Taveras, promoter of the initiative.

INDOTEL president, Dr. Jose Rafael Vargas, deputy Ricardo Taveras, and Regional Director of Education, Isabel Ureña, led the ceremony of inauguration of this second Wi-Fi networkd in the Pekín area in the south of Santiago.

President Leonel Fernández inaugurated several works in Santiago

BREAKING NEWS: Santiago.- President Leonel Fernández inaugurated Tuesday in this province several works of public interest with an investment of 338 million billion dollars, among which stand out roads, bridges and the House of the Archbishop of Santiago.

The head of state cut the ribbon to inaugurate the reconstruction of road between Hispano Avenue and the intersection of Matanza, made by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, at a cost of 180 million pesos.
