Large market model to be built in Santiago
It will provide products to all the Cibao region
President Leonel Fernández announced the construction of a large regional model market in the city of Santiago.
The Dominican President made these declarations as he visited the Merca Santo Domingo, to supervise the construction works of this large storage facility that the government is building to facilitate the marketing of agricultural products.
He said that similar structures will be built in the Cibao area, specifically in the city of Santiago de los Caballeros.
Jose Enrique Sued, former mayor of Santiago de los Caballeros, welcomed the construction of Merca-Santiago announced by President Leonel Fernández.
This distribution center is a project that was presented to President Fernandez and he promised us on March 30th, 2010, that it would be included in the budget this year
